Tangible Music Looper (DJ Remix Box)

An intuitive physical interface for real-time music remixing using dedicated tangible hemispheres. Inspired by DJing, this project offers a playful approach to music creation, moving away from complex software. Instead of on-screen controls, users interact by placing magnetic hemispheres onto designated zones. Each zone, equipped with a hall effect sensor, corresponds to a specific musical loop. Placing a hemisphere (with a magnet inside) on a zone triggers the loop, and removing it stops the playback, allowing for immediate and tactile experimentation with layering sounds and building unique musical arrangements.
