About the project

The prompt for this project was to laser cut two objects, one at least 6 inches in size, and the other small. This tested my knowledge of scaling a model's sizing to account for kerf (lost material), and joint tolerances while planning out the cuts.

This piece is part of a series around the theme "symmetry is overrated", and plays with the use of intentional and surprising asymmetry.
